North Cyprus News | 1st ECO University Sports Games
The Economic Co-0peration Organisation (ECO) consists of ten member states: Islamic State of Afghanistan, Azerbaijan Republic, Islamic Republic of Iran, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Republic of Tajikistan, Republic of Turkey, Turkmenistan and Republic of Uzbekistan. Currently the TRNC has been granted observer status.
From 15-20th April in Lefkosa, 571 athletes will be competing in the 1st ECO University Sports Games. Sports included will be Athletics, Swimming, Futsal, Table Tennis, Badminton, Tennis, Chess and Wrestling. The event is costing the TRNC 2.5m TL.
